Coordination Committee for Vocabulary (CCV)

Coordination and approval in close collaboration with the Radiocommunication Study Groups, the General Secretariat (Conferences and Publications Department) and other interested organizations (mainly the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC)), concerning:

vocabulary, including abbreviations and initials;​
related subjects (quantities and units, graphical and letter symbols).​

The terminology managed by the Radiocommunication Sector, notably being completed and updated by the data supplied by the Ra​diocommunication Study Groups, is included in the ITU Terms and Definitions Database. ​​​

Following to the creation of the ITU Coordination Committee for Terminology (ITU CCT), the CCV meetings information and documents have been replaced by the ITU CCT meetings information and documents which are available on the ITU CCT ​Web​ page​. ​​CCV documents have been archived (please see below).
